INDIANAPOLIS (Dec. 19, 2018) – Zionsville-based 120Water has been selected to participate in the prestigious ImagineH20 accelerator program, which empowers firms to develop and deploy innovative global water solutions.

“This honor validates the hard work, and value our Indiana-based innovation delivers to solving water quality and infrastructure programs that affect schools, municipalities, cities and states,” said 120Water Chief Executive Officer Megan Glover, whose company has gained notoriety for its work with clients like the Indiana Finance Authority on its statewide school lead-testing program and a similar program in Maryland and Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority.

120Water is among 13 companies selected from five different countries.

The selection process included more than 250 applicants across the world and an independent panel of 30 judges to review and evaluate applicants for high potential companies within the water sector.

Finalists in the ImagineH2O accelerator program receive resources, insight and visibility to help launch and scale water technology businesses, and introduces them to a global network of customers and investors.

Since 2009 the program has had more than 100 companies selected to participate in the program. In 2018, Imagine H2O’s accelerator companies and alumni collectively raised more than $140 million in venture financing.

This is the second honor 120Water has earned in the past year after winning the pitch competition on the Indianapolis leg of Revolution’s Rise of the Rest tour. Revolution is a DC-based investment firm led by AOL Co-founder Steve Case. Case and Revolution are committed to supporting and showcasing founders in emerging startup ecosystems across the country. Revolution’s Rise of the Rest Seed Fund invests in companies like 120Water that are starting and scaling outside of the coastal tech hubs.
